Where we ship

The Desk Story ships to addresses across Canada, including P.O. boxes.

Shipping rates

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your order:

Up to 100 g (e.g. pens, sticky notes, cable clips): $6.99
101–300 g (e.g. pencil cases, small sets): $9.99
301–600 g (e.g. journals, planners): $15.49
601 g–1 kg: $21.99
1–2 kg: $37.99
2–3 kg: $55.99
3–5 kg: $88.99
5–10 kg: $171.99

We don't offer free shipping. Items from our Canadian partner suppliers have their own shipping charge, calculated at checkout.

Processing & delivery times

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). After processing, standard delivery usually takes 8–15 business days. Items from Canadian partner suppliers usually arrive in 2–14 business days.

Order tracking

You'll get a shipping confirmation email when your order ships. If the shipping method includes tracking, your tracking number will be in that email. Some small, lightweight items are sent by standard mail and may not include tracking, or tracking may only show limited updates. If you have a question about where your order is, just email us.

Multiple packages

If your order includes items from more than one supplier, you may receive more than one package, and they may arrive on different days.

Delays

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by carrier delays, weather, holidays or high-volume periods. If your order hasn't arrived within 25 business days of shipping, please contact us and we'll help.

Wrong address & lost parcels

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We can't be responsible for orders sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you can't find it, check with neighbours and your local post office, then contact us within 7 days.

Customs & duties

All prices are in Canadian dollars. Most orders arrive without any additional customs duties or fees. If you are ever asked to pay an import fee on delivery, please contact us and we'll help.
